SYNEX

Neo-Kyōto, 2187. The megacorporation SYNEX runs the city on one rule: the more of you is machine, the higher you rank. Sky Grid on top, Core Zone in the middle, Rust Zone at the bottom.

Joe Hoshino

Joe Hoshino is sixteen, unmodified and from the Rust Zone. In SYNEX’s eyes he barely registers.

Kōkai

Then he fuses with Kōkai, a forbidden technology, and becomes Spectre: an anomaly the system cannot classify.
